Balfour Technical Services Contracting LLC offers specialised construction, mitigative and project management services for the commercial and industrial owners including educational, health care, office, hotels, retail, public buildings, sports facilities, warehouses, farm buildings and facility managers in Dubai and the rest of the emirates in the UAE.
We provide site development, demolition, modifications, renovations, environmental, energy, power quality studies & solutions, protective coatings, solar power generation & more. Our services range from delivering comprehensive turnkey solutions to undertaking construction activities.

The design-build construction delivery method replaces the traditional methods of awarding separate contracts for design and construction. The contractor, designers, subcontractors, and owner work together as one team to build a project that meets or exceeds the owner’s expectations. Team members focus on communication, collaboration, and solving problems together rather than pointing fingers and placing blame.
DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT DELIVERY: The owner manages only one contract with a single point of responsibility; the designer and the contractor are on the same team providing unified recommendations. Changes are addressed by the design-build team leading to no excuses. The design-build team manages all subs and consultants.

Power Quality Studies, Harmonic Analysis and Solutions
Power Quality (PQ) is a significant issue as it is a function of the performance of electrically energised equipment.
Balfour Tech offer a broad range of engineering services in power quality such as:
- Site surveys, on-site power quality data logging using Fluke instrument, harmonic analysis and recommendations.
- Detailed study of reactive power, power factor and existing harmonic pattern in the electrical system.
- Design & recommend optimal solutions based on measured project data.
- Simulation of electrical network, system using ETAP software and carrying out harmonic penetration studies.
- Solutions to improve power factor and mitigate harmonics as per IEEE 519 standards.
- Implementing the recommended solutions and verifying the results by doing re-analysis to ensure optimized system performance with fastest payback.
- Turnkey PQ project: Design, installation, programming, testing and commissioning of harmonic mitigation equipment such as active and passive harmonic filters, SVG’s etc.
